Kick off 2018 by rejuvenating the mind, body, and soul at Delaware Seashore State Park

Back by popular demand is the Winter Lecture Series.  The lectures will take place at the Indian River Life-Saving Station Museum at 5 p.m. and each Tuesday will feature a different topic.  The lecture series is free and all participants will receive a coupon to a craft series program later that week!  Pre-registration is not required.  The lecture series is as follows:
 
February 6          John McCarthy, Delaware State Parks Archeology: Delaware’s Quarantine Stations, a Time Traveler’s Presentation
February 13        Center for the Inland Bays: State of the Bays
February 20        Jeff Moore, Delaware State Parks: Primitive Skills in Archaic Delaware
February 27        Red Moulinier, DE River & Bay Lighthouse Foundation: Lighthouses of the Delaware Bay
 
A new addition to the winter program series is the Thursday evening craft series.  Park staff will lead a different “upcycling” or nautical-themed craft each Thursday.  Pre-registration is required and participants must be at least 12 years old.  The craft series is as follows:

February 8          Love Me, Love Me Knot                               $15
February 15        Paint Night: Painting with Phrag                $15
February 22        Upcycling: Sea Glass Suncatchers              $20
