Two well-known icons in the Bethany – Fenwick Area, Dickens Parlour Theatre and Good Earth Market, have teamed up to offer extraordinary dining and world-class entertainment within the brand new spacious setting of one of the finest entertainment venues on the Delmarva peninsula. Scheduled for groundbreaking this summer and grand opening later this year, the new Dickens Parlour Theatre will be bursting with magic, music, and merriment that you can enjoy and be a part of while experiencing local cuisine and crafted cocktails provided by the Good Earth culinary team.

Beyond the varied professional entertainment and dining offerings, the new theater will welcome private events such as anniversaries, birthdays, meetings, and informal public affairs and gatherings such as “inside story” lecture series sponsored by the Coastal Point. The theater’s own open-air patio will adjoin the Good Earth Market’s existing gardens and veranda, providing wonderful opportunities for community functions under the stars.

Good Earth Market owner Susan Ryan says “the time is now… we feel strongly that long-time local neighbors and newly arrived retirees and families are looking for high-quality entertainment, cultural events, and excellent local food. This is a great combination right here… It’s time. We are so fortunate to have Rich and Sue Bloch’s theater right here on campus. Everything they do is done with joy and excellence. They are a gift to our community.”

The new, 5000 square-foot dinner theater, complete with spacious seating, state of the art lighting, heating, and ventilation, will be located immediately adjacent to the Good Earth Market on its existing 10-acre campus. Parking will be plentiful and free.

Dickens Parlour Theatre was previously located in Millville, Delaware on Route 26 and entertained and thrilled family audiences for 10 years before outgrowing the space. Good Earth Market & Restaurant has been providing healthy gourmet food and dining on Route 26 since 2004.
