The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 50^th anniversary at its annual Member Celebration on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Incorporated on December 6, 1976, the Chamber’s mission remains to develop and implement destination events, participate in advocacy efforts, and provide opportunities for networking, marketing, and education with the goal of improving member success and enhancing the quality of life in the Quiet Resorts.

The 2026 Member Celebration will forego the Chamber’s annual “Best of the Quiet Resorts Awards” as voted on by the public, instead honoring the Chamber’s history and member successes throughout the past 50 years. Live music, hors d’oeuvres, and a commemorative film featuring interviews from founding members and key stakeholders of the Chamber will be presented.

This event is made possible by the generosity of sponsors, including Bank of Ocean City, Banks Wines & Spirits, Bethany Boathouse, Creative Concepts, Custom Mechanical, Soul Tree, Taylor Bank, and Wilgus Associates. Sponsorship opportunities are open to any member business who would like to support the celebration.

The 50^th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2026 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Ocean 99 at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites with the Anniversary Film Presentation to commence at 7 p.m. Members may reserve tickets for the event at bethany-fenwick.org for $15 per guest.
