Hosted annually the first four Saturdays in December, Weekend Wonderland in Bethany kicks off December 1^st from 10 am – 6 pm, throughout downtown Bethany Beach. Local merchants will offer special promotions and activities, and a variety of festivities will take place throughout Bethany Beach. Each Saturday at 5:00 pm, gather around the tree on the bandstand to sign along to popular winter and holiday songs. Attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food items and new or gently used warm clothing items for Neighbors in Need, who will have a collection vehicle parked at the bandstand entrance each Saturday from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.

The Elf on the Shelf Bingo Scavenger Hunt will return for the second year. All four weekends, shoppers can stop in participating stores in search of the Elf to fill a Bingo card and enter to win weekly prizes. Winners will be announced each Saturday at the bandstand, before caroling. Additionally, carriage rides will take place each Saturday from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, beginning in front of Town Hall.
