Walk the Indian River Inlet Bridge at Night

Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m. 

Rehoboth Beach, DE- Today the Indian River Inlet and the towering Charles W. Cullen Bridge serves as one of the area’s most recognizable landmarks. While many people are familiar with what it has become now, few truly understand just how different the landscape has changed over the years. On November 10 join Delaware Seashore State Park interpreters on a night walk over the bridge as you explore the dynamic forces and history that has molded the Indian River Inlet and the surrounding lands over the past two centuries.  Participants will enjoy the bridge’s eye-catching design and blue lights which have made it so well-known.

Hike Fresh Pond Tract

Sunday, November 13 at 1 p.m.

Rehoboth Beach, DEDelaware Seashore State Park invites the public to explore a tucked away gem. The Fresh Pond Hike will take participants through one of the park’s lesser known areas, guided by a park interpreter. This 3.4-mile loop meanders through hardwood forest, meadow and marsh habitats.
