THE ULTIMATE SMALL BUSINESS RESOURCE FAIR COMES TO THE QUIET RESORTS

Fenwick Island, DE – On Thursday, March 26th, “Take Away Tips for the Small Business,” the ultimate resource fair for the small business owner, will be held at Harpoon Hanna’s from 4:30 -7:00 p.m. Presented by PNC Bank, hear motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Sarah DeGray, tell the story that led her from the corporate world to opening REV, an indoor cycling company based in Burlington, Vermont. Afterwards, learn take away tips and get questions answered on issues facing small businesses. Topics will include Branding, Budgets and Forecasting, Customer Retention, Investing in Retirement and Securing Capital and more. The Better Business Bureau, the Small Business Administration and SCORE, along with the business industry leaders, will be on hand as resources for the small business owner.

Special guest Melody Booker-Wilkins, the Sussex County Director of Economic Development, will address the audience to open the evening. “When talking to small business owners, we hear, often, how there is not enough time in the day to build their business,” said Kristie Maravalli, executive director of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, “therefore the Chamber created Take Away Tips to put all the resources and experts in one place. In essence, it’s a one stop shop for the small business owner.” Led by the Bethany Fenwick-Area Chamber of Commerce, the event is open to the public with a discount for BFACC members.
