Our Thanksgiving for Thousands event kicks off tomorrow! In Delmarva, Mountaire Farms will be set up under a tent in a parking lot across from the Selbyville, DE processing plant. This is a NEW LOCATION from years past. This year, our 26^th year of the event, they are packing 20,000 complete meal boxes in total (10,000 in Delmarva and 10,000 in North Carolina), and partnering with hundreds of churches, non-profits, and community groups who distribute the boxes to families in need.

Each box contains a Mountaire Farms roaster chicken, corns, green beans, stuffing, gravy, cranberries, and brownie mix.

Due to COVID-19, they are limiting the number of volunteers at each event, and have worked closely with local and state authorities to follow all necessary protocols. Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced. Temperatures will be taken before anyone gains access to the tent.

In Selbyville:

Begin on Thursday, November 19^th at 8 am in a parking lot at 55 Hosier Street until 4 pm

Begin on Friday, November 20^th at 8 am in a parking lot at 55 Hosier Street until 4 pm

On Monday, November 23^rd, all boxes will be distributed beginning at 8 am in the parking lot of Crossroads Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, DE until about 1 pm

In Lumber Bridge, NC:

Packing and distributing from our employee parking lot on Saturday, November 21^st from 8 am to Noon

 In Siler City, NC:
