Sea Colony, the premier family beach & tennis community just south of Bethany Beach, DE, is excited to host two globally ranked professional pickleball players to their facility this weekend. James Ignatowich and Anna Bright will be leading player clinics and participating in exciting exhibition matches August 12-13. Ignatowich is ranked in the top 10 best male pickleball players in the world and was the 2022 Major League Pickleball Champion. Bright is currently ranked in the top 10 best female pickleball players in the world. She also currently ranks second in women’s doubles and third in mixed doubles.

Ignatowich and Bright will lead 4 pickleball sessions on Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 as well as exhibition matches with Sea Colony pickleball pros on Saturday from 4-6pm. The free exhibition matches are expected to draw a record number of spectators from the greater Bethany Beach community.

Saturday, August 12, 2023
9 am – 12 pm Intermediate (3.0 – 3.5 level)
1 pm – 4 pm Advanced (4.0+ level)
4 pm – 6 pm Exhibition Matches
Sunday, August 13, 2023
9 am – 12 pm Intermediate (3.0 – 3.5 level)
1 pm – 4 pm Advanced (4.0 + level)
