Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery is Hosting Three Fall Events to Benefit Local Charities

This fall, Salted Vines Vineyard and Winery is hosting three fun events to support local charities including The Get Well Gabby Foundation, CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, and The Nemours Fund for Children’s Health at A.I. Dupont. Details for each event can be found below. 

HalloWINE, October, 26, 2019, 6-10pm

 HalloWINE in the Vines is an adult only event to benefit the Get Well Gabby Foundation. Guests are encouraged to come in costume to enjoy an evening of fantastic wine & treat pairings, live music, food, and a sneak peek of a new wine release.

$20 ticket includes:

  • 5 Wine & Halloween Treat Pairings
  • A complimentary wine tasting glass and wine glass lanyard to enjoy hands-free tasting

The winery will also be offering the following specials:

  • Trick or Treat Box – $5 off your choice of 3 bottles of wine
  • $5  4oz. glasses of wine & regular slushies

 J&B Grilling’s food truck will be on-site and live entertainment will be provided by Kyle Offidani.

 A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Foundation. You can purchase tickets here. Donations of new children’s books and additional monetary donations are welcome and appreciated.

 The Get Well Gabby Foundation is committed to raising funds for childhood brain cancer research to help find a cure, assisting in the care and well-being of children and their families battling childhood cancer, and providing resources for families so they can stay with their child during their journey. 

 Coloring for a Cause, November 1 – 27, 2019

 Salted Vines invites adults and children to color a Thanksgiving themed coloring page to benefit Nemours Fund for Children’s Health at A.I. Dupont. Coloring for a Cause is being held to raise money for one of the local teams participating in the Delmarva Dash, a two-day, 200-mile team relay race that takes place across the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, which benefits the Nemours Fund.

 November 1stis the kickoff event for this month-long fundraiser at the winery. Adults who purchase a $10 regular glass or $12 premium glass will receive a coloring sheet and supplies to Color for the Cause. From 5-8pm, guests will enjoy live music featuring Lisa & Tony and the food truck onsite, The Street Kitchen, will be donating 10% of their sales made during the evening.

 After the 1st, adults and children can donate $3 and receive a festive coloring sheet and supplies and Color for the Cause. 

 The Nemours Fund for Children’s Health at Nemours Alfred I. DuPont Hospital supports cancer and blood disorder research and offers patient and family-centered pediatric oncology and hematology care that includes the full range of clinical and support services alongside internationally recognized research programs.       

 

0.5K Drag Race Fun Run, November 10, 10am-1pm

 Salted Vines and Zen Spa Fenwick have teamed up to host a fun run at the winery to raise funds for CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.

This 0.5K run will be wildly entertaining with glamour stations that will house fun tasks and wine to “rehydrate”.  After the run is over there will entertainment from Drag Queen extraordinaire, Monique L’Amor, discounted glasses & bottles of wine, mini massages and a food truck.

Tickets are $32 per person and include a “Drag Bag” to hold your glamour items and other fun swag. This event is for ages 21 and older, non-refundable, and held rain or shine. You can purchase tickets here.

 Camp Rehoboth Community Center is a non-profit community service organization dedicated to celebrating diversity, building a strong sense of community, and “creating a more positive” environment for all people, gay and straight.

“When we host larger events at the winery, we like to partner with a local, charitable organizations to provide financial support and bring additional awareness to their cause. We are fortunate to serve locals and people who are visiting the area, so we are great platform to get the word out about a wide variety of great charities,” said owner, Adrian Mobilia.
