Salted Vines Vineyard Coat Drive
SALTED VINES VINEYARD & WINERY TO HOST COAT DRIVE FOR DIAKONIA AT THEIR CHRISTMAS IN THE VINEYARD EVENT
FRANKFORD, DE. – Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery will host a coat drive to benefit Diakonia during their Christmas in the Vineyard event on Saturday, December 10th from 6pm-9pm. New and gently used coats, gloves, hats and scarves will be collected for adults and children of all ages.
Diakonia is a local organization in Ocean City, MD that has been providing shelter, food, clothing and other resources to individuals and families of Worcester County in need for over 40 years.
“We feel it’s important to give back to our local community, especially during the holiday season. It’s our hope that our coat drive will help Diakonia provide warmth and comfort to those who need it most,” said Adrian Mobilia, owner of Salted Vines.
Christmas in the Vineyard will also feature a tree lighting and festive holiday celebration including mulled wine. Boneyard BBQ’s food truck will be on-site serving delicious comfort foods and Preview Wine Tastings will be available for $5 during the event.
Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery is the newest winery and event facility on the Eastern Shore. It is located at 32512 Blackwater Rd, Frankford, DE 19945, which is approximately five miles from Bethany Beach. For six years, Salted Vines operated as Fenwick Wine Cellars in West Fenwick, Delaware. Last year the owners decided to invest in a beautiful piece of farmland, which allowed them to expand and build a new, larger winery to better serve their customers and friends.
