How to Respond to Federal RFPs

WORKSHOP SET FEBRUARY 22 FOR DELAWARE BUSINESSES ON HOW TO RESPOND TO FEDERAL RFPs

New Castle, DE – The Procurement Technical Assistance Center of Delaware (PTAC) will present “Responding to Federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs)” on Wednesday, February 22, 9 a.m. until 12 noon at the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, 12 Penns Way, New Castle.

The program will be held quarterly and is designed to take businesses inside the organization of a proposal to understand the federal government bidding process.  Participants will learn:

  • The structure of an RFP;
  • How to understand every section and its requirements; and
  • How to identify required resources.

Participants also will be given hands-on exercises to demonstrate how to perform as a proposal manager and/or key team member to plan, develop, write, review, and deliver a complete, compliant, and compelling bid response to the RFP. The federal government language (acronyms) will also be reviewed.
