For 36 years, the Friends of the South Coastal Library (FOSCL) has worked to provide supplemental funding for the Library to expand its collections and enrich its programming. Thanks to your help, the South Coastal Library is evolving into a vibrant community resource center.

This year alone, your generous contributions funded 200 popular programs for adults and children, 42% of all new book and audio-visual purchases, new furniture in the library, and 600 children’s books for distribution at the annual Cops and Goblins event.

This holiday season, the South Coastal Library asks you to help sustain these efforts.

Here’s what your donation could support in 2025:

• $50 purchases two award-winning children’s books
• $100​​​​ adds ​five new bestsellers to the collection
• $150 ​funds two yoga or tai chi classes for the community
• $250 provides 400 Book Page review magazines
• $500 pays one year of access to Creative Bug for library patrons
