This DART Rider e-mail notice is sent to you as part of our continuing effort to keep you aware of the services and programs that we offer including service changes and system improvements.

 

NEW Rider Alert notification service – Please re-subscribe

DART has a new subscription service, through the Delaware Notification Service, that allows you to choose the type of notifications you receive and how you would like to receive them (via phone, text, email); sign up HERE.  You’ll find DART options listed under DelDOT.  Please subscribe before November 1, 2016 if you would like to continue receiving information from DART.

 

 

 

DART needs your input at the upcoming Public Hearing Workshops

Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) will conduct Public Hearing Workshops to obtain comments on proposed changes to DART Statewide Fixed Route Bus Services to become effective Sunday, December 11, 2016.

 

Tuesday, October 4, 2016 – 4 PM to 6 PM

A summary of proposed changes and the service proposals are available for public review online and at the Wilmington, Dover and Georgetown Libraries, WILMAPCO, at the reception desks of DART Administrative Offices.  For information on an alternative format, please call (302) 760-2827.

 

At the hearing, a hearing reporter will officially transcribe comments intended for the record by the public.  People unable to attend may send their comments to: DART Public Hearing Workshop, P.O. Box 1670, Wilmington, DE 19899-1670

 

Comments can also be emailed through DART’s website at www.DartFirstState.com/publichearing.  All written and e-mailed comments must be received by October 7, 2016.

 

If an accommodation such as an interpreter for the hearing impaired or a language translator is needed, please contact DTC at 1-800-652-DART (3278), option 2, one week in advance.

 

The Delaware Transit Corporation has the legal authority in Delaware for initiating public transit service changes as defined in Title 2 Chapter 13 section 1309 of the Delaware Code.
