Bethany Beach Farmers’ Market Opens for the 2018 Season

On Sunday, June 10th, the Bethany Beach Farmers’ Market celebrated the start of its 11th season by hosting a ceremonial ribbon cutting with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce. Market vendors, board members, and volunteers were present for the celebration.

The Bethany Beach Farmers’ Market is open Sundays from 8:00 am – noon, now through September 2nd, and features 15 local vendors. Shoppers will find items such as farm direct fruits & vegetables, organically grown produce, artisanal breads, free range eggs, farmstead cheeses, freshly cut flowers, local honey, exotic mushrooms, herbs, and much more, all strictly from the Delmarva region.

“Our growers, our neighbors – We are proud to be a producer’s-only market in the heart of Bethany, connecting our community with their local farmers who provide the finest quality items sourced directly from our Delmarvalous lands to you,” say board members, Doug Mowrey and Henry Bennett.

The Bethany Beach Farmers’ Market is located at the corner of Garfield Pkwy. & Pennsylvania Ave. in Bethany Beach. Limited free parking is available for Farmers’ Market shoppers during market hours in the town lot on Garfield Pkwy.
