As of April 25, The Center For Disease Control has lifted its nationwide pause on the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine. Everyone in the state of Delaware 16+ is now eligible for the vaccine. The CDC has also issued a warning regarding the vaccine.

They state, “women younger than 50 years old should be aware of the rare but increased risk of this adverse event (blood clots) and that there are other COVID-19 vaccine options available for which this risk has not been seen.”

The CDC is also emphasizing that the risk is incredibly rare, and all data shows that the benefits outweigh any potential risk. They will continue to monitor the safety of all COVID-19 vaccines and continue to regularly update the public.
