Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery has several great events planned for the month of February including their popular Wine & Chocolate Lovers’ Weekend on February 9, 10 and 11.  The winery is also hosting You’re Making Me Blush weekend, a Teacher Appreciation Day, and will begin their new, monthly Sweat & Sip event.  More details for all events are listed below.

February 9-11

Wine & Chocolate Lovers’ Weekend will feature wine samples paired with hand-made gourmet chocolates made locally in Berlin by Taste-Ds’ Custom Chocolates. Two pairing options will be available on all three days (while supplies last). The Sinfully Sweet Pairing is an informative sit-down full wine tasting including six hand-made gourmet chocolates priced at $22pp (requires advance ticket purchase). The Sweet Tooth Pairing includes six wine samples paired with six hand-made gourmet chocolates for $15pp. Groups of eight or more should call to schedule a reservation. This option does not require pre-purchased ticket but is first come, first served and while supplies last.

• $7 regular slushies all day.

February 16-18

You’re Making Me Blush Weekend

The winery will be releasing a 3-bottle pack of their newly released blush wines.

Teacher Appreciation Day

Teachers receive 1/2 off tastings, enjoy $1 off glasses of wine, regular slushies and cheese plates.

February 24, 10am

Sweat & Sip

Beginning in February, Salted Vines will host an on-site exercise class once a month. The first class will be Pilates, led by Kelly Hughes of Beach Pilates & Wellness of Bethany Beach. Juicebox of Bethany Beach will be on-site offering samplings. Tickets include class admission and a glass of wine and may be purchased at SaltedVines.com. Discounted tastings and glasses of wine will be available for attendees after class.

The winery is also hosting regular weekly events including Retiree Happy Hour every Thursday from 3-6pm with discounted tastings and live music. Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery is the newest winery and event facility on the Eastern Shore. It is located at 32512 Blackwater Rd, Frankford, DE  19945, which is approximately five miles from Bethany Beach.  For six years, Salted Vines operated as Fenwick Wine Cellars in West Fenwick, Delaware. In 2015, the owners decided to invest in a beautiful piece of farmland, which allowed them to expand and build a new, larger winery to better serve their customers and friends.
