Gallery One‘s Bus Trip to “A Nation of Artists” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Come with us to celebrate our country’s 250th anniversary with this special exhibition that highlights the richness and diversity of all American art and traces the evolving story of American creativity across three centuries.
The works have been collected by the Philadelphia Museum of Art over the past 150 years and will also feature the generous loan of the Middleton Family Collection, one of the country’s most significant private holdings of American art, mostly never been seen by the public.
The works will include the early realism of Charles Wilson Peale, Thomas Eakins, the impressionistic elegance of Mary Cassatt, the expressive intensity of Horace Pippin, the timeless paintings of Edward Hopper and the glowing color of Mark Rothko. And this is just a small sampling of masterworks to be seen that trace the evolution of American identity and visual culture. This is one exhibit not to miss!!
The cost of the trip is $135 (which includes museum entrance tickets) due at the time of reservation. Space is limited. For more information, and to place your reservation, contact Gallery One at 1-(302)-537-5500 . Open every day from 10am- 4pm.
