On Thursday, June 4th, 2021 SoDel Concepts held the official groundbreaking for their new Ocean View Brewing Company.

The 5,000-square-foot, 200-seat Brewpub plans on opening its doors in Spring 2022. It will feature an outdoor beer garden, indoor fireplace, and have décor that will reflect a modern beach house with touches of Americana

“We are so excited to bring a first-class brewpub to Ocean View,” president of SoDel Concepts, Scott Kammerer said, “We love the community, which has supported NorthEast Seafood Kitchen, also in Ocean View, as well as our restaurants in Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. We have so many loyal customers in the area, and this has been a long time coming.”

The new Brewpub will try to bring a similar experience of Sodel’s successful brewpub, Thompson Island Brewery, to the region South of the Indian River Inlet. It will offer coastal comfort food, beach influenced atmosphere, and exceptional service. The Ocean View Brewing company will offer new beers and popular brews from Thompson Island Brewery.
