SOUTH BETHANY
ACCESSIBILITY AND AMENITIES: Public restrooms are available at the South Bethany Town Hall from
Monday to Friday. A handicap-accessible ramp is located at South 3rd Street. Beach wheelchairs are
available upon request to the South Bethany Beach Patrol by calling (302) 539-3653. Beach access points
include mobi mats. Parking permits can be acquired at the South Bethany Town Hall.

PARKING is FREE from October to April. Parking permits are required from May through September.
PETS are allowed on beach from November to April.
FISHING & SURFING is permitted when lifeguards are off duty.
PROHIBITED: Smoking, glass containers, and bonfires.
DELAWARE STATE PARKS
*Includes Delaware Seashore & Fenwick Island State Parks
ACCESSIBILITY AND AMENITIES: Delaware state parks come equipped with numerous amenities including
foot washing stations, bath houses, mobi mats, and food facilities. In addition, the Delaware Seashore park
includes campgrounds, a marina, historic museum, and restaurant. Delaware State Park beaches include
handicap-accessible ramps, mobi mats, and will provide beach wheelchairs upon request to Delaware State
Park Beach Patrol. Visitors can request wheelchairs by calling (302) 632-2070.

PARKING is FREE from November to March. In the summer, a daily entry fee is required. Annual passes can
be purchased at delaware state park offices and Quiet Resorts Information Centers. See page 21 for more

PETS are allowed in all parks. May through September, pets can only be on non-swimming beaches.
FISHING & SURFING is permitted when lifeguards are off duty. Parks also include designated fishing
beaches along the coastline and inland bays.
