State Parks

The five state parks located nearest to The Quiet Resorts, in Sussex County, are a mix of beach, bay and inland parks. The beach parks, including Fenwick Island State Park, Delaware Seashore State Park, and Cape Henlopen State Park, collectively feature beach access with showers and concessions, ecological public programs and campgrounds. Historic sites within these parks include The Indian River Life-Saving Station at Delaware Seashore State Park and Fort Miles at Cape Henlopen State Park. Holts Landing State Park, found at the southern end of the Indian River Bay, offers hiking trails, boating, fishing, clamming, crabbing and even primitive campsites. Found further inland, Trap Pond State Park features boating, camping and nature center activities including summer camps. Park passes can be purchased by day or annually and can be used for entrance at all of Delaware’s State Parks.
