Roxana, DE

Positioned between Selbyville and Ocean View is the quaint community of Roxana. Originally named “Village of Centreville,” this small hamlet is a picture of quiet rural living washed in spectacular sunsets and dulcet wildlife lullabies. Once a year, the everyday quiet tranquility of Roxana erupts into a week of excitement when the Little League World Senior Softball World Series comes to town. During this event, the population nearly doubles in size and generates more than $1 million dollars in economic impact before returning to the norm.

The pulse of Roxana may not be as bustling as some of its neighboring communities, but in the end that’s part of its charm. It sits comfortably far enough away from the rush of tourist traffic, yet close enough to dip your toes in the salty waters, should you choose.

In order to protect both our staff and the public, we are regrettably closing the Visitor Information Center until April 12th, we are planning to re-open to the public at 9:00 AM on Monday April 13th.

Chamber members are encouraged to make appointments to meet with the Chamber Staff.

All State Parks are free until April 30, and annual passes are available to be purchased online here.
